2008-2009 Scholarships

The Savage Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the following recipients for the Savage Chamber Scholarships in the amount of $500.00 each: 

• Ms. Jessica Zwanziger – Prior Lake High School

• Ms. Sarah Muellerleile – Prior Lake High Schooll

These students were selected from 15 applicants and were selected based on their essay written about how they would get involved in our community following their education as well as what types of participation and leadership activities they are involved with and their academic achievement.   It was a very impressive field of applicants!  

The recipients and their parents were invited to attend the June Member Meeting on Tuesday June 16^th for a formal presentation of their scholarship checks.  We would like to thank each of the businesses that donated money to support this program and who attended the meeting so the students can see and meet the many generous business people in the Savage area that are committed to supporting the youth in our community.   .
